Description
One of six Florida Reef Lighthouses, built on the reef that is south of the keys and off Miami. Built by General Gordon Meade of Civil War fame.This is the tallest reef light. Can be seen by land at Sombrero Beach State Park, best seen by boat or plane. Good snorkeling and diving by all the reef lights.
