Description
The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse was built in 1871 and decommissioned just three years later in 1874. The lighthouse is the only wooden lighthouse still standing in Oregon and the only Oregon light in which the keeper's quarters and tower were an integral structure.
The lighthouse was returned to service as an aid to navigation in 1996.
