Description
The Lorain East Breakwater Light stands atop the outermost breakwater that protects Lorain's harbor from the storms of Lake Erie. The 65 foot square steel tower was built in 1965 and replaced the 1917 Lorain West Breakwater lighthouse as the official lighthouse of Lorain harbor.
