Description
The Bishop is a rock lighthouse in the Scilly Isles off the South West tip of England. To get there you can take a boat trip from the main Island St Marys but they run infrequently as the weather has to be fine and the sea flat.
The Isles of Scilly are a mass of granite islets that provide a serious hazard to shipping. This was the second lighthouse constructed on the site. The first was washed away before it was finished.
