DescriptionThis light is in the Peninsula State Park and is open to the public. This tower stands 43 feet tall and currently it uses a solar powered light in a 300mm plastic lense to alert the passing traffic. This is a far cry from its original Third One Half Order Opic and oilfired lamp that the keeper, Henry Stanley, had to heat and haul fuel to.
