Description
This screwpile light is the oldest surviving light of its kind in the Chesapeake Bay. It was moved from the bay in 1988 to Pier 5 in Baltimore and became part of the Baltimore Maritime Museum in 1997. Also part of the museum are three historic ships, including the lightship, Chesapeake.
