DescriptionThe Burlington South Breakwater Light is easily viewed from just south of the ferry landing on the Burlington waterfront. The original lighthouse was built in 1857 but destroyed by a storm in 1876. The present tower is a square wooden pyramidal replica that was completed in 2003.
