Conanicut Island Lighthouse stands on the northern end of Conanicut Island in Naragansette Bay. The lighthouse was built in 1886 and discontinued in 1933. The lantern has been removed and this has been a private residence since 1933. The lighthouse is now painted a deep red with white trim.

The plaque on the side of the tower, which can't be read in the posted image, reads "North Light" in the original 300 dpi file.
